Bretton Keenan
Content Specialist

Current Role
I bring 5+ years of writing and editing experience to the Dumpsters.com team. I take pride in providing resourceful content to homeowners looking to spruce up their properties and stash away my favorite ideas for my own future home. In addition to writing about DIY and home organization projects, I have become well-versed in sustainability tactics after years of researching topics like commercial recycling and the life cycle of trash.
Throughout my time at Dumpsters.com, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with well-known organizations like the Environmental Protection Agency and Sherwin Williams. I have also become acquainted with several home organizers around the country, including those who belong to the National Association of Professional Organizers, making me a self-proclaimed amateur expert in the home organizing space. My work has been featured in well-known publications like the Brighton Journal.
Past Experience
Before becoming a dumpster expert, I graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University (Go Orange!) and worked in two different newsrooms as a digital producer. During my time as a journalist, I wrote many stories about two of my favorite communities, Buffalo and Cleveland.
Outside of Work
As a coffee aficionado, my goals include staying awake after late nights watching the Guardians play on the West Coast and consuming as many seasonal drinks as possible each fall and winter.
