FAQs
Is it easy to rent a dumpster?
We've simplified the dumpster rental process to five steps:
- Contact us.
- Tell us about your project.
- Hear our size recommendations and upfront quotes.
- Pick a size.
- Fill the bin and let us know when you're ready for pickup.
Do I need to put plywood down on my delivery spot?
While it's not required, placing plywood on your delivery spot not only helps protect your driveway from scratches and scuffs, but also helps mark where you want the dumpster placed. Since our standard delivery time frame is within five business days of placing your order, using plywood also helps ensure that no one accidentally parks a vehicle or places another obstruction in the way.
Why do dumpster prices vary?
Dumpster prices vary because there a few factors that aren't fixed, like fuel prices and landfill fees. Fixed prices include weight limit, size and rental period.
Am I allowed to have a dumpster in my driveway?
Not only is it allowed, but driveway placement is the preferred location. It makes your cleanup easier since you don't have to walk to the street and also saves you money. If you opt for street placement, you'll need to reach out to the city of Fort Worth and apply and pay for for a Street Permit.
Where do you take my trash?
Fort Worth-area trash is often taken to the Fort Worth C and D Landfill, located at 4144 Dick Price Road, or the Fort Worth Southeast Landfill.
Can I mix landscaping debris with remodeling waste or household junk?
In some cases, yes. However, it depends on the landfill's rules and regulations. When you place your order, we'll ask you about the materials you plan to toss in order to provide you with the right dumpster with a proper weight limit to handle your project. It also allows us to get ahead of the game and plan for your disposal, ensuring that your dumpster ends up at a landfill that accepts your materials.
What happens if I toss a prohibited item?
We may not be able to pick up the dumpster until the prohibited item is removed, which will result in a failed trip fee. If we do pick up the dumpster without knowing about the item, the landfill may charge a contamination fee when your load is dumped and sorted. In this case, you will receive a separate invoice for the charge. To avoid paying a fee, give us a call if you have any questions about tossing a certain material.
How do I load my dumpster?
We recommend loading heavy items first through the swinging door, then tossing light debris over the sides. This helps ensure items won't shift while we're driving.
To avoid a pickup delay, please make sure there is no waste hanging over the sides or stacked above the top of the dumpster.
