Dumpsters.com Featured on Bravo’s New Show, Buying It Blind
Find out how Dumpsters.com worked with Bravo's Buing It Blind experts to transform houses into dream homes.
What Do Dumpsters Have to Do With Bravo’s Unique Twist on a House-Flipping Show?
We rent dumpsters to people flipping homes all the time – but until we teamed up with Bravo’s Buying It Blind, we’d never been in the limelight quite like this.
In the new six-episode series, couples trust three experts – Atlanta Real Estate Agent Anna Kilinski, Contractor Jen Metzger and Interior Designer Michel Smith Boyd – to purchase them the home of their dreams. But here’s the catch: the couples sign over their life savings to buy the home without ever seeing it.
The first reveal is far from love at first sight. The new homeowners are introduced to an unimpressive fixer-upper in need of a major facelift. Luckily, the experts step back in to completely remodel the home. From tearing out old carpet and adding fresh paint in the living room to removing over-sized bathtubs and faded-wood vanities in the bathroom, the couples are surprised once again with an awe-inspiring second reveal.
While you’re watching the transformations, keep an eye out for a cameo by one of our dumpsters. We handled the cleanup for four out of six of the season’s projects, and we’re excited to see our roll off dumpsters help make these couples’ dream homes a reality.
Want a behind-the-scenes look at the remodeling action? Check out this video featuring Jen Metzger, the show’s expert contractor. Not only will you learn how she orchestrates all of the show’s major renovations – you’ll also catch her dancing on top of the debris in one of our dumpsters.
